Broadly, Oceania refers to the island countries of the pacific region, including the continent and country of Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the three sub-regions of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.
Australia, with its cosmopolitan cities and world-class theme parks is already a firm family favourite. New Zealand, of Lord of the Ring fame, has long been a photographer’s dream. And if you are looking to lose yourself in a far-flung corner of the world, stunningly beautiful islands with deserted beaches, wonderful diving unique cultures and festivals are trademarks of the region. Fiji, Tahiti, or Vanuatu, anyone?
